Veteran Mentor
I joined the US Army when I was 17. I served in the 82nd Airborne Division for 6 years. I became a squad leader by the age of 20 and spent 2 tours in Afghanistan. I successfully transitioned out of the military, assuming a role in logistics management. I quickly realized that I did not enjoy that line of work, and went back overseas with a private contracting company. I provided executive protection for Embassy staff in Kabul, Afghanistan. This line of work was not sustainable, as I am a father. I later found myself doing the growth and strategy planning for a premier technology company based in Pennsylvania. During that time I consulted for numerous small businesses on sales, marketing, and networking. Following that, I led the charge in corporate sales for the largest veteran franchise organization in the nation. Together, with my team, we successfully grew the book of business by 31% in roughly 11 months. With the success I brought to the organization, my salary was no longer affordable and thus; I secured a VP level role for a full cycle software development company where I nurtured and maintained relationships with executives from some of the biggest brand names in the world. As many of us do, I got divorced and during that time – I stepped away from that position to relocate my family to a new area, only doing part-time strategic advising and living off my assets. I am a single father, a life-long learner, a mentor, and a highly motivated sales professional.

Past Experiences
Brandenburg
(2019 – 2020)
I served in a logistics management role. Timelines were crucial and a heavy amount of research had to be done in my off time. This was my first career after the military, so I needed to catch up on all the OSHA regulations pertinent to my role. I created binders of regulations and my own operating procedures that later would be passed down to junior members of the organization. It was in this role that I became proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, etc), logistics chains, contract review, negotiating change orders, and organizational planning. This job frustrated me so much that I left to go back to Afghanistan.

Triple Canopy
(2020 – 2021)
I served on a high threat protection detail. Repetition and discipline were vital to success in this field. I realized I was terrible with a sidearm, and I wasn’t going to pass the selection process, so I would go on to hire my own personal instructors to be the most effective in things like shooting, presenting to a crowd, de-escalation, and overall fitness. I paid for this training out of pocket, because I was so committed to do well in this role. I was on the Special Representative of Afghan Reconciliation’s (SRAR’s) detail. It was in this role that I became proficient in surveillance, report writing, personnel tracking, strategic leadership, and emergency response. My wife told me I needed to get a real job and settle down because we have a family. I knew that if I made another career change, I would need to move into a dynamic industry that was recession proof.

CSM International
(2021 – 2023)
I previously oversaw the growth and strategy planning for a veteran owned technology company based in Pennsylvania. I researched market trends to evaluate long term viability in new market pursuits. I played to my strengths in negotiating and relationship building to achieve success. The company had pursued opportunities in critical infrastructure, public sector, healthcare, and the manufacturing industry based on my recommendations. When a new vertical proved to be viable, I would allocate resources and relationships to maximize it’s potential. If the opposite occurred, I pivoted quickly to reduce exposure to financial risk. I regularly brokered partnerships and joint ventures. During my time there, CSM optimized it’s outreach process to include direct mail, cold emailing, and social media prospecting. We also refined our website with SEO keywords and saw measurable results by way of inbound leads.

Despite a solemn macro-economic climate, my team and I also grew the year end revenue 31%.

Taking advantage of that, I brought on varsity level roofers from biggest brands in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Harnessing their expertise and my sales abilities – we started something great.
